POSITIONEN

Senior Pricing and Risk Developer

Design and develop pricing and risk components to support the firm's market-making business, working across multiple asset classes ranging across Equities, FX, Commodities and other derivatives;

English / Australia / Sydney

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and develop pricing and risk components for multiple asset classes, including forex, indices, commodities, shares and other derivatives
  • Partner with other key groups: business operations, product development and the other IT teams. And ensure products are implemented efficiently and meet the demands both internally and externally and addressing any issues that arise
  • Work with the front office users and business operations to address any issues
  • Maintain personal/professional development to meet the changing demands of the role, including all relevant regulatory and legislative training
  • Understand the nature of the trading floor business and respond quickly and efficiently to the issues that can or has caused business outage
  • Creation of maintenance and reporting tools relevant to the product area as appropriate
  • Ensure a positive approach to challenge and provide open and honest feedback
  • Provide mentoring and training for junior members of the pricing and risk group
  • Occasional requirement to work during the weekend for a product release
  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality

Requirements

  • An appropriate track record of commercial experience in J2SE
  • Good understanding of core financial concepts / mathematics and a strong interest in the area
  • Excellent communication skills supporting an ability to adapt to the trading floor and the pressures of working closely with the business
  • Experience of all aspects of the development lifecycle
  • Experience of developing large scale systems
  • Experience writing automated tests
  • Financial knowledge from developing trading systems;
  • Financial knowledge regarding developing trading systems
  • Exposure to CEP Engines, or Event Driven Programming

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist the SEO team to drive all SEO activity to improve key metrics and deliver meaningful return on investment
  • Amending SEO elements within the CMS will be a significant part of the job so you must be comfortable making basic CMS changes
  • Undertake in-depth keyword research with the goal of improving existing search engine rankings
  • Assist in the creation of new pages and content to improve overall visibility
  • Help leverage existing in-house content, creative and video assets to improve search engine performance
  • Utilise a range of desktop and web-based tools in order to diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Analysing the domains backlink footprint and proactively taking steps to identify and prevent negative SEO and unnatural link signals
  • Monitor the domains properties for potential issues
  • Help with the regular reporting and presentation of SEO ROI and project achievements
  • Proactively research new opportunities to increase SEO visibility and conversions for all regions

Requirements

  • Self-starter with ability to drive projects with minimum supervision / management
  • Strong technical skills – solid understanding of analytics and digital technologies
  • Ability to communicate throughout all levels of an organisation both technical and non-technical
  • Good technical SEO experience covering strategic and hands-on activities
  • Good understanding of content SEO

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Responding to compliance enquiries
  • Performing regular monitoring to ensure that standards are adhered
  • Maintaining and reviewing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the CySec and FSA rules and regulations
  • Monitoring and reporting on employees' adherence to client policies and procedures, including by carrying out periodic compliance audits
  • Reviewing new regulations applicable to investment firms and identifying potential compliance risks
  • Developing compliance training materials and performing ongoing compliance training to employees
  • Examining, evaluating and responding promptly to client grievances.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of our client's compliance program and advising on measures to reduce compliance risk

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Team spirit, excellent problem-solving ability and willing to study and develop
  • 3-5 years' experience within the financial services sector will be considered as an advantage

  • Assist clients worldwide through a live chat support
  • Answer e-mails, assist with the opening of client accounts, amend existing accounts, maintain client records and liaise with appropriate departments
  • Demonstrate impeccable telephone etiquette and management
  • Handle back office queries
  • Support clients with technical and troubleshooting issues
  • Report to the management
  • Deal with complaints of a varying nature promptly and effectively
  • Provide support and troubleshooting on MetaTrader platforms
  • Liaise with all departments to resolve issues

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field
  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an advantage

Requirements

  • Good SQL skills in writing and understanding SQL queries
  • Understanding of relational databases and data models
